Foundations in Christianity are Important Luke 6:46-49. Obeying God is like building a house on a strong and solid rock that stands firm when storms come. When life is calm, our foundations don’t seem to matter. But when crises comes are foundations are tested. Our Christianity is tried as to obedience. Be sure your life is built on Jesus Christ. True Bible Foundations in Christianity are in Christ.  

Peter tells us that the trial of our faith is much more precious than gold that perishes though it be tried with fire (1 Pet1:7). Its the testing of our faith that's more precious than gold that perishes, genuine faith in Jesus will last forever to His glory who strengthens us. It's doing the will of God that makes it through eternity out lasting any treasure of this life.

True Christianity is work and discipline. Why would people build a house on sand? Perhaps to save time and avoid hard work. Possibly because the waterfront scenery is more attractive or because beach houses have higher social status than cliff houses. Perhaps because they want to join their friends who have already settled in sandy areas.
